Works with KaraFun and Spotify
- Your songs are matched against the full KaraFun catalog, refreshed daily. Songs in KaraFun get a badge, and one tap on the filter shows only those.
- If a song leaves KaraFun, its link pauses and comes back on its own. Missing a match? Mark it yourself and it helps everyone.
- Adding a song is a search away: pick the KaraFun or Spotify result and the details fill in.
- Import a whole Spotify playlist, open any song in Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube Music in one tap, or use "Find YouTube Karaoke" to look up a karaoke version. All free.

No! You can connect and chat with fellow singers using only your Stage Name and personal QR Pass without ever sharing your real name or phone number. Messaging is strictly gated between accepted friends, supports 1-on-1 chats and Squad Groups (up to 15 members), lets you share interactive song/duet and venue cards with 1 tap, and features offline queueing so messages deliver automatically once you step out of a basement dead zone.
Yes, and you don't have to start from scratch. Free accounts can paste a list straight from Notes or a spreadsheet, or upload a text, CSV or TSV file, within your free limits. You can also import a Spotify playlist. Karaoke iQ adds release decade and artist genre tags and flags duplicates to prevent clutter.
When browsing your repertoire, you can apply any combination of filters (like 1980s rock tracks you've rated 3★ or higher that you haven't sung in 6 months) and tap the Dice icon in the header. The app randomly selects an eligible song from your subset, reshuffling through unpicked tracks until you've rolled them all.
Yes! Karaoke iQ offers a generous Free Tier that lets you save up to 25 songs, log every performance with no limit, browse all local venues and schedules, and connect with friends, give props and chat. You can export everything to CSV or JSON anytime. Every feature is free, including Spotify import, music app links, venue maps and Show KJ cards. Pro removes the limits, unlocks your full history (everything you log is always saved) and turns off ads.
No app store download is required to get started. Karaoke iQ is a Progressive Web App (PWA)—use it in your mobile browser or tap "Add to Home Screen" on iOS or Android for a full-screen install with offline caching. When available, you can also use our optional native apps from the Apple App Store or Google Play; the same Karaoke iQ account and repertoire sync across web and store apps.
Yes! Your song library, preferred keys, private notes, cached chats, and venues are saved right on your device. So even in that basement bar with no bars of signal, you can check your key changes and log your performance. Pending logs and messages sync automatically once reconnected.
Yes! Activate Cruise Ship Mode in the main menu when sailing. The app comes preloaded with ~185 major vessels across 10 cruise lines (Royal Caribbean, Carnival, NCL, Disney, Celebrity, Princess, Virgin, MSC, Holland America, Margaritaville at Sea). You can log performances completely offline with zero satellite Wi-Fi costs; logs queue in your device and sync to your timeline once you reconnect in port.
No. Performances logged at "Private Venues" (like home parties, band practices, or private rooms) stay private and are never broadcast to friend feeds, public venue pages, or notifications.
Yes. Block a singer from their profile, a message, or a venue's Recent Singers list. They can no longer message you or send friend requests or props, and they are never told. You can unblock anyone in your privacy settings.
Lifetime Pro lasts as long as Karaoke iQ runs, and we intend to keep it running for a long time. If it ever has to close, you'll get at least 90 days' notice to download your songs, performances, and venues with Data Export, and if it closes within a year of your purchase, you'll get a prorated refund. Our aim in that case is also to release a standalone version that keeps your library on your device, with backups to your own Google Drive. The details are in our Terms of Service.
