We collect information you provide directly to us, information generated through your use of the service, and technical data:

• Account & Authentication Information

  When you register, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you sign in via Google Authentication, we may collect your Google account identifier, name, and public profile picture provided by Google.
• Billing & Payment Information

  If you subscribe to Karaoke iQ Pro, payments are processed directly by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not collect, process, or store your raw credit card numbers or banking details. We only store customer identifiers (Stripe Customer ID), subscription status, and plan type to manage your account access.
• Public Profile & User-Generated Content

  Information you choose to publish, including your Stage Name, Hometown, Short Bio, Profile Photo, public venue listings, public song catalog entries, and public performance logs.
• Private User Data, Direct Messaging & Squad Chats

  Information you record for personal use—including private song notes, personal ratings, preferred key changes, private tags, Wishlist entries, Sing Soon selections, private venue names, and private venue notes—is completely confidential. Direct messages (1-on-1 and squad group chats) are private to conversation participants. Interactive attachments (such as song duet suggestions and shared venue cards) are visible only to members of that conversation. When messages are edited or deleted, prior versions and deletion markers are retained in secure audit logs solely to facilitate review by our safety team in the event of harassment reports or terms of service investigations.
• Location Data

  When searching for nearby venues, you may grant permission for the app to access your device's geolocation (GPS) or optionally input a 5-digit ZIP code. Geolocation coordinates are used strictly in real-time on your device to calculate distances and are never stored on or transmitted to our persistent database servers.
• Local Storage & Offline Caching

  To enable offline capability and zero-latency performance, Karaoke iQ stores your song library, private notes, and cached venue lists in your browser's local storage and IndexedDB. Pending offline actions are queued locally and synchronized automatically when an active connection is detected.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information strictly to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Karaoke iQ platform:

  Database read and write operations are strictly governed by server-side Firebase Security Rules and Cloud Functions, ensuring users cannot access another singer's private notes or private venues. Elevated administrative access is restricted to technical support and platform maintenance.
• PCI-DSS Compliant Payment Handling

  All payment transactions are handled within Stripe's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. Karaoke iQ servers never touch, handle, or store payment card numbers.
